2 New sets of hammers just in time for the holidays!
That's right, just in time for the holidays! I'm proud to unviel not 1, but 2 new sets of hammers!
The first is a hammer that is very dear to my heart. When I was a budding metalsmith I had a couple french hammers this shape that were my absolute favorite hammers and got used for so many tasks, it had a permanent spot on my bench. It's availbale in 5 sizes, and depending on the size, it can be useful for everyone from the jeweler, to the armourer. More info can be found here
The Second set is based on the specs of Ford Hallam's Japanese ingot forging hammers, but I of course I put my signature Osage Orange handle on them for better ergonomics, to absorb hamful vibrations, and to help save your joints. These hammers primary function to forge water cast ingots into usable billets, but they can also be used for many other purposes such as: raising, forming, planishing, and bladesmithing hammers to name a few.
